Daily life
Seville is a large city; Valencia is a large city on the coast. Seville is Spain's most atmospheric southern city: monumental, affordable, and made for long evenings outdoors. It is also very hot in summer and has fewer English speakers and no direct North American flights. Valencia is big enough for culture, a metro and a city beach, yet flat, bikeable and cheaper than Madrid or Barcelona. It is a favorite for families and remote workers, with good weather year-round and a modest flight network to North America.
