Limassol is a mid-size city on the coast; Paphos is a town on the coast. Limassol is Cyprus's international hub: sunny, English-friendly, full of finance, shipping and tech jobs, and priced accordingly. It is the most expensive city in this batch for a single person at about €2,450 a month in our estimate, but also the best set up for a nomad permit or an investor residence. Paphos is slower, cheaper and quieter than Limassol: a retirement and lifestyle base with long beach season and a large British community. Our estimate is about €2,050 a month for a single person. It is not set up for nomads who want coworking or nightlife.
Living in Limassol: the upsides and downsides
