Daily life

Copenhagen is a capital / metropolis on the coast; Stockholm is a capital / metropolis on the coast. Copenhagen is one of the easiest big-city moves in northern Europe if you have a job: safe, cycle-first and almost everyone speaks English. It is also one of the priciest places in our set, so plan on about EUR 2,600 a month for a single person living comfortably. Stockholm is Sweden's job and startup hub, and a very good city once you have a home and a personnummer. Getting a rental is the hard part, and winters are long and dark. Budget about EUR 2,300 a month for a single person living comfortably.
